91, formerly from Monroe, Michigan passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 8th, 2019 in Jackson, MI where she has been living since June 2016. Rosemary was born in Detroit, Michigan on the 1st of August, 1928 to Fred W. and Blanche M. (VanWaeyenberghe) Bayer. On September 19th, 1946 she married James (Jimmy) Tabbert. After 36 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on January 19th, 1982.

She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She joined her husband on many exciting ventures in life including: Jimmy Tabbert's Dancing Studio, owner and operator of Coney Island, Jim's Party Store and Jimbos' Coney Island. She was an active member and volunteer at the Center for Healthy Aging, and volunteer and Board Member at Mable Kehres Apartments. She enjoyed playing Bingo, cards with her friends and craft sewing. Before her move to Jackson, Michigan she was a member of St. John the Baptist Church for over 70 years. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Survivors are two daughters and a son. Debra A. (Bruce) Hagen of Appleton, Wisconsin; Janet M. (John) Schuster of Jackson, Michigan; and James A. Tabbert, Jr. of Trinidad, Colorado; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Sadly, along with her husband Jim, she was preceded in death by a daughter; Cheryl Lynn Tabbert-Casto, her parents; Fred and Blanch Bayer and in-laws; Alfred and Mary Tabbert.

At Rosemary's request, cremation has taken place, and all services will be private. Inurnment will take place next to her husband and daughter at St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroe.
