RoseMary Horning
of Jackson passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2013, at the age of 86 years. She was born on July 31, 1927 in Jackson to Agnes (Martin) & Harlan Green. She is survived by her children, Katherine (Mike) Brieger, Carolyn (Cliff) Braun, Lorraine (Dale) Kuhl, and Andrew Horning. RoseMary had numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides both parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, George, on Oct. 16, 2009; their daughter, Sally Humphrey; brother, Jack Green; sister, Ponnie Watters.
RoseMary was previously employed with Mercy Hospital as a Registered Nurse and City Bank with Manpower. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and going to garage sales/church bazaars.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 10 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
A Prayer Service will be held at the funeral home at 12:30 PM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 1:00 PM. Father James Shaver will be the celebrant at the funeral Mass. Interment will be held at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
The family extends their appreciation to those who cared for RoseMary at Ganton's Legacy Assisted Living and Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, a donation/memorial contribution may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or please do a kind deed for someone in need.
