Bussell (McCluskey), Rosemary Veronica
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her husband, children, and siblings Monday, November 14, 2022, at the age of 75 years. Rosemary was born in Jackson, Michigan, on April 16, 1947, and was raised in Jackson. She graduated from St. John's High School in 1965. Rosemary studied and taught ballet in her younger years. She worked in the dental field. She retired from working at Culinary Secrets to spend countless hours with her grandchildren. Rosemary's greatest love was her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Rosemary's talents were endless. Rosemary had an art for decorating. Her eye for design was her trademark along with her amazing baking and entertainment skills. The pool parties, holiday dinners, and family gatherings were legendary at the Bussell home, led by Rosemary. Rosemary was an avid gardener alongside her husband Jim. The gardens at their home were a labor of love. She also enjoyed summers on Clark Lake with her children and fishing with her mom. Rosemary loved all she met, and we were blessed by being near her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hattie (Borkowski) and James McCluskey, and her brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Phyliss McCluskey. Rosemary is survived by her siblings James (Teddy) McCluskey, JoAnn (Ford) Kennedy, and Patrick (Joanie) McCluskey. She is also survived by the love of her life, her husband of 40 years, James Bussell. Her 6 children; Charles Mohlman, James Bussell (Christine), Kathryn Meade (David), Cory Mohlman, Andrew Mohlman, and Beth Mohlman-Hall (Scott). Grandchildren; Angie Alaniz, Richard Meade, Jessica Chambers, Patrick Meade, Kaitlyn Parcell (Connor), Bridget Parcell (Brandon), Haley Goodreau (Cody), Kyrsten Nitzh (Nate), Brianna Mohlman, Abigail Meade, Lauren Mohlman, Sullivan Mohlman, Lucia Hall, and Aiden Mohlman. 6 great-grandchildren, the newest being Lydia James Parcell and one more on the way! Many special nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews whom she loved and adored. Special lifelong friends, Monica Jenkins, and Mitch and Kathy Luty.
According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Jackson on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. followed by The Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM with Father Robert Pienta officiating.
The family would be honored by memorial donations to Jackson County Animal Shelter.
