Of Jackson Michigan, passed away under the loving care of her family and the staff at the Allegiance Hospice Home on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 age 92 years. Survived by her children: Catherine, Karen, Clayton Jr. (Jeannie), Caroline (Dan) Seymour, Christopher, Claire Marie, Carla (David) Carli, Kenneth (Young Sun), and Rose Peterson. 24 Grandchildren, numerous
great-grandchildren and Great-great-grandchildren. Siblings: Caroline Ray and Victoria Dickieson; sister-in-law: Judy Lichtenheld

She was predeceased in death by her husband of 63 years, Clayton Lewis Kops, Sr., grandchildren: Lewis Parker and Anthony Kops, siblings: Andrew Dolich (Keneski) and Alexander Keneski. In-laws: Ernest Ray, Robert Lichtenheld, Theodore Smoly, Berniece Smoly, Eve Dolich.

Rose was a B-24 Blue Print Clerk at the Willow Run Bomber Plant during WWII. Rose was a Sketch and Watercolor artist, an avid walker, camper and reader. She was a devoted wife and mother and loved her family dearly. She was a very Religious Roman Catholic, member of Rosary Altar Society, Parish Choir, and Parish Council. She was an eternal optimist and fountain of hope, and she always gave more than expected.

Mrs. Kops is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church 10:30 AM. Interment St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Father James Shaver will officiate at the Funeral Mass.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Rosary Society Rosary Thursday at 3 PM and Parish Rosary Thursday at 7 PM.
