Sutterfield, Ronald "Uncle Ronnie"

Ronald VL Sutterfield known quickly to all who met him as "Uncle Ronnie," passed away on April 11, 2019 at the age of 70.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his wife and love of his life, Robyn Sue Carr. He is survived by his two children, Brandon (Jennifer) and Tiffany. He will also be lovingly remembered by his four grandchildren, Hailey, Carson, Katelyn, JR and by his sisters, Judy, Linda (Bob), Donna (Mike), and brother Robert (Jodi). Celebration of Life will be held May 4th at 1:00 PM: American Legion 830 S Clinton St. Stockbridge, MI 49285.

To know him was to love him, as his heart and smile were always ready for any and all. Also known as the "Candy Man" he brought immeasurable joy and too many cavities to countless children through the years as he loved to share this love of sweets just to see a child smile.

As a veteran of the Vietnam War and recipient of the Bronze Star Medal, he lived his entire life by the Army Creed. A true patriot, he was a warrior who proudly served the people of the United States. A guardian of freedom and the American Way of Life, all while never accepting defeat.
