KORNAK, RONALD W., MD

Of Jackson passed away peacefully Thursday, May 13, 2010 age 71 years. Survived by his wife of 47 years Kathleen. Nine children; Jodi (Chris White) Kornak, Traci (Richard Kotarba) Kornak, Keli (Thomas) Dzierwa, R. Scott (Jill) Kornak, Shelli (James) Anuszkiewicz, Bari (Kevin) Kane, Molli Kornak, Andi Kornak and Jaymi (Brian) Wilson. 24 grandchildren, one brother and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his mother Marie D. and his father Walter P. Kornak. Dr. Kornak was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was a Otolaryngologist in Jackson for 40 years. He was a member of the Catholic Medical Assoication, a volunteer for the Lyle A. Torrant Center, liked to fish, sang in the Queen's Choir and enjoyed watching his grandchildren at their sporting events. According to his wishes Dr. Kornak has been cremated. A private funeral Mass will be held.

In lieu of flowers contributions to the Lyle A. Torrant Center would be appreciated.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 4 to 7 PM.
