Of Jackson, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 21, 2022 at the age of 70 years. Preceded in death by his father, Howard D. Alexander; mother, Patricia DeHart; grandson Aiden Alexander, and son-in-law Bryan Friedrich. Survived by his children; Matthew (Sara) Alexander and Angela Friedrich; grandchildren Tyler Alexander, Collin Friedrich and Madelynn Friedrich; stepfather Earl DeHart; siblings Scot (Sue) Alexander and Jan (Willie) Demps and multiple nieces and nephews.

Rod was a graduate of Northwest High School Class of 1969 and had been employed as a glazier at the time of his retirement. He could be found most weekends attending one of his local grandkids' sporting events. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Cremation has taken place. A small Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 11:00 am at Desnoyer Funeral Home with Fr. James Shaver officiating. The family will receive friends and family at the Desnoyer Funeral home beginning at 10:00 AM until the service.
