Age 60, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014 at the Hospice Home, Jackson. She was a graduate of Vandercook Lake High School and Western Michigan University. She was a teacher with the Jackson Public Schools for thirty-one plus years at Bennett Elementary School. Her teaching career began in the POHI (Physical or Otherwise Heath Impaired) Program and finished as a third grade teacher. Robin enjoyed the out doors. Fishing and archery were her favorites. She volunteered with her husband at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Parish for the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) and Marraige Preparation (FOCUS) Programs. You could find her at Countryside visiting with the residents as an Ombudsman with Chloe, a toy poodle.
Robin is survived by her husband of 33 years, John "Jack" of Jackson; step-son Jeffrey E. Vrabel of Las Vegas, Nevada; mother Donna Leutz of Jackson; brother, Lawrence Lee (Nick Pavelich) of San Diego, CA; brother, Roscoe W. (Shelly) Lee of Jackson; brother Dennis R. (Rhonda) Leutz of Jackson; brother Kirk (Susan) Leutz of Naples, FL; brother Kempf (Amy) Leutz of Jackson; brother Darr (Dawn) Leutz of Jacksonville, IL; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many friends. Robin was preceded in death by her father C. William Lee and step father Ray Leutz.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church with Father John Whitlock officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at the Church on Friday, October 10th from 10 to 11 AM. In lieu of flowers contributions to Queen's Parish would be appreciated.
