Vainner, Robert S.

Age 50, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 after a short, sudden and courageous bout with cancer, under the loving care of his family and the staff at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home. He is survived by his devoted wife of 27 years Amy and their two daughters Jessica and Victoria. He is also survived by his siblings Ann (John) Liebner, Tom (Gail) Vainner, Jane (John) Foster, Susan (Ron) Coolbaugh, Jim (Rose) Vainner, Tim (Linda) Vainner, Mary (David) Wylie, John (Sarah) Vainner, Mark (Suzanne) Vainner, sister-in-law Karen Vainner, mother-in-law Sharon Craft and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents Joseph and Jean Vainner and brother Joseph Jr.

Robert was a Master Electrician and proud owner of Vainner Electric. In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf, gardening, being a loyal Detroit sports fan and most importantly spending time with his family. He was very proud of both of his daughters and adored his three dogs Gracie, Jake, and Moustakus.

Robert was a wonderful and incredible father, husband, brother and friend. He had a kind and genuine soul that touched the lives of all he came in contact with and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of His Life will be held at Desnoyer Funeral Home beginning with a viewing Thursday October 19 4:00 to 8:00 PM.  The service led by Pastor Brad Smith will be held Friday October 20 at 11:00 AM with interment at Hillcrest cemetery to follow.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the scholarship that has been set up for the continuing education of both of his daughters Jessica and Victoria.
