Of Jackson, passed away at his home on Saturday, January 18, 2025 under the loving care of his family and Careline Hospice at the age of 85 years.  He is survived by his two children, Kevin (Evelyn) Calbert and Robbin (Tim) Leighty; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sons-in-law, Dan Pluta and Tom Stevens; one brother, Don (Sharon) Calbert; two sisters, Catherine (Dan) LaVan and Mary (Duane) Benn; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Anita; daughters, Vicki Stevens and Theresa Pluta; and brother, Raymond.

Bob retired from Kelsey Hayes after 30 years of service.  He was a founding member of the Loyal Riders Motorcycle Club of Jackson.  Bob was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, RC airplanes, and spending time with his family and friends.

Funeral Services for Bob will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Desnoyer Funeral Home with Father Tim Nelson officiating.  Cremation will follow the service.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
