68, of Jackson, Michigan sadly left us on Sunday, January 29, 2023. Rob was born in Columbus, OH on February 2, 1954. He graduated from West High School and joined the United States Army July 31, 1973. He was a Military Policeman who held the rank of Corporal upon his honorably discharged.

Rob was married to Rita on December 9, 1984 and they were married going on 39 years.  Rob worked at for Worthington Specialty Processing where he held many hats. His greatest position was supervisor, and he retired from there after 40 years. He enjoyed bowling, golfing with his son-in-law Fred, tinkering in his garage, and watching his Buckeyes. Rob was an avid football fan and could predict games with the best of them. Rob had a love for Hallmark movies and had no issues crying during every movie, even though it might have been the dozenth time watching it. He had a love of Westerns as well. Rob was a restaurateur in his middle career where he made and sold his greatest love- pizza. Rob took pride in never missing a day of work. His love of work and those he worked with kept him going until the very end. He loved his family and it showed in the dedication he had with his wife and those surrounded by him. Rob had a great love for dogs and there was hardly a time where he did not have one of his many dogs on his lap. Rob will be missed and loved by those who knew him the most.

Rob is survived by his wife, Rita I. Travis; his mother, Lois Travis; sister, Pam Ivery; daughter, Misty Wakeman; son, Brett Laudermilt (Tina Laudermilt); daughter, Tina Delos Santos (Fred Delos Santos); grandchildren, Jessica Solano, Dominique Klotz (Steven Klotz), Olivia Delos Santos, Camille Delos Santos, and Sarah Wakeman; and two great-children Maxton and Bentley Klotz; two nephews, Chad Ivery and Scott Ivery; and their children. Rob is preceded in death by his father, John Travis.

The Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring so that family that come and celebrate Robert Lee Travis.
