Smith, Robert "O"
of Jackson, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2011, surrounded by his family and friends, at the age of 75 years. He is survived by one daughter, Sherri (Doug) Arnold; one son, John F. (Robin) Smith; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Mary M. (Bill) Robbins; his loving companion of many years, Nancy Boyd; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary P. Smith and Ronald J. Smith. He was the owner and operator of the Jackson Vacuum Center for over 20 years. According to his wishes, Robert "O" has been cremated. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Reverend Robert Pienta officiating.
The family will receive friends at St. John Catholic Church on Monday from 10–11 AM.
Memorial contributions in memory of Robert "O" may be made to the charity of your choice.
