Robert "Bubs" Richardson

Of Jackson, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the age of 94 years. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Mary "Peggy". He was preceded in death by his son Brian James Richardson in 1998. He is also survived by 6 children, Mariana (Peter) Cole, Robert P. Richardson, Ellen Markiewicz, David (Trina) Richardson, Susan (Roger) Anderson, Amy (Scott) Stephens; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by brother, Burton (Teresa) and parents Burton and Berniece.

Bubs is a Navy Veteran of WWII, 4th Degree Member of Knights of Columbus, Lifetime Member of American Legion Post #29, was mail carrier for many years, and worked at Jackson Harness Raceway for over 30 years.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father James Shaver as the Celebrant. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Church prior to the Mass from 10:00 to 10:30 AM.
