POWERS, ROBERT J. "BOB"
Of Parma, passed away at his home under the loving care of his family on Friday, November 12, 2010 at the age of 60 years. Survived by his wife of 37 years Katie. Three sons, Bob (Vicky) Powers, Michael (Amber) Powers and Scott (Kelly) Powers. Six grandchildren; Bobby, Allie, Gabriel, Owen, Joey and Olivia. One sister Denise Heatherwick. Four brothers; Pete, Denis, Jim and Kevin. Preceded in death by his parents Jim and Ruth Powers; sister, Martha Powers, nephew Patrick Powers. Bob was employed at Lefere Forge for 36 years and was a lifelong farmer, an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also a member of the Lumen Christi Titan Club. A special thanks to Great Lakes Hospice.

Bob is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a brief Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Reverend Mathias Thelen will be the celebrant.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A Rosary Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 7:00 PM.
