Of Jackson, passed away January 15, 2022, at the age of 84, surrounded by his wife and children. Bob is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Lynne (Bauer), and their children: Marian (Bob) Gray, Jeanene (Dave) Stoll, Kathy (Tom) Regan, Emily (Brandon) Klump, Andrea (Joe) Margheim & Patrick (Katherine) Miller. 22 grandchildren include Bob (Mary) Gray, Zac (Jade) Miller, Jenna (Lucas) McPeck, Joshua, Grace, Abigail, Caleb, Anna, Natalie & Laura Regan, Brogan, Lucas, Graham, Andrew & Gannon Klump, Brooke, Carlie, Sloane, Mara & Beau Margheim, and Olivia & Penelope Miller. Their four great-grandchildren are William, Scarlett & Noelle Gray and Eden McPeck.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Creig and Lela Mabel (Price) Miller, siblings Marjorie, Jack, and Creig, and granddaughter Joann Gray.

Bob was born on August 4, 1937 in Burlington, Iowa. Following in his father's footsteps, he began his career in power plant design at Niagara Falls. In 1960, he and Mary Lynne were married in Michigan City, IN, and moved to California. In 1969, they moved to Jackson, where they finished raising their family. Upon retirement, Bob and Mary Lynne enjoyed traveling, with a notable affection for Germany and western Europe. Other interests included studying family heritage, aircraft, boating, camping, fishing and skiing. Bob cultivated a lifetime love of music which he shared with children and grandchildren, singing as cantor and choir member of Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church for over 50 years. He was also a long standing member of the Jackson Chorale. He knew from 12 years old that he was called to use his voice to serve the Lord.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 21, 2022, at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church, at 11:30 am with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating. The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church's Facebook Page.  Cremation will follow the Funeral Mass.

The family will receive friends at the church 10:30-11:30 am.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the HFAH Hospice Home for their loving service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be to the LingapCenter.org, Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church, or HFAH Hospice Home fund.
