Lacinski, Robert J.

of Jackson, passed away at home peacefully on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at the age of 73 years. He is survived by his wife, Stella; two sons, Patrick (Shannon) Lacinski and Christopher Lacinski; step-daughter, Stacy Miller; grandchildren, Macy, Carson, Meris, Christopher II, Quentin; and Gaven; sister, Marybeth (Greg) Burt; brother-in-law, Butch Gutowski; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Annie; and his brother, P.J. Lacinski.

Bob was a 1965 graduate of Orchard Lake St. Mary's and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War where he received the double bronze star with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters. He then served as a Drill Sergeant at Ft. Knox. Bob retired from Ameritech as Director of Public Relations after many years of service. He served 18 years on the Jackson County Board of Commissioners. Bob enjoyed cooking, golfing, bowling and watching old westerns.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 at 12:00 Noon at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Fr. James Shaver. Interment will follow at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive family and friends at the church on Friday from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon.

In lieu of flowers, drink a beer with a friend.
