Kuhl, Robert Francis
Born into this life on February 23, 1928 was born into eternal life peacefully at home on Monday, September 26, 2016 at the age of 88. Preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Margaret Kuhl. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Joan Marie (Osborne) Kuhl; children, Julie (Derek) Skidmore, Martin Douglas Kuhl, Marybeth (Dan) Maley, Gretchen (John) Clark, Nancy (John) Skubinna, Theresa (Bill) Martin, Matthew (Laura) Kuhl, and Christopher (Kristine) Kuhl; 26 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis (Donald) Oliva and Maryhelen (Ernie) Kwaske; brothers, Richard (Shirley) Kuhl and John (Mary) Kuhl. Also preceded in death by his two brothers, William Patrick Kuhl and James Thomas Kuhl.
Bob graduated from St. Mary High School in 1947. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Kent-Moore/Sealed Power after 35 years of service. Bob was a quiet and gentle person. He believed in living by example. He was unwavering in his love for his family, his faith, and his country.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 29 at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church at 1:00 PM. Internment St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friend at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 28 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 5:00 PM.
Instead of flowers, contributions to St. Mary's School or Church would be appreciated.
