CUMMINS, ROBERT JAMES "BOB"
Of Jackson passed away Monday, February 8, 2010 age 84 years.
Preceded in death by his wife and best friend of 58 years Betty Joyce Cummins. Also preceded in death by his parents Frank V. and Mary C. Cummins, sister Ruth Sweeti, brother William Hoyer, and grandson Scott Vincent. Survived by five children; Gary (Mark Bogacz) Cummins, Lynette Vincent, Michael (Ronda Johnson) Cummins, Dennis (Mary) Cummins and Cheryl (Lloyd) Globensky. 8 grandchildren; Burt, Frank, Josh, Heather, Dawn, Tara, Amber and Kyle. 8 great grandchildren; Tyler, Caleb, Nick, Seth, Samantha, Owen, Ayden and Logan. Brother Richard (Nancy) Cummins of Prescott AZ, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII having served in General MacArthur's headquarters. Bob retired from Clark Equipment Company after many years of service and then worked at the Dawlen Corporation. Bob was an active parishioner of St. Mary Star of the Sea Church and a member of Moose Lodge #156. He enjoyed golf, fishing and loved to dance with the love of his life, Betty Joyce. After retirement Bob and Betty enjoyed many winters in Florida together. His life was blessed by having a close family and many lifelong friends. According to his wishes Bob has been cremated. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Saturday February 27, 2010 at 9:30 AM. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park with Military Honors. The Rev. Cecilio Reyna officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Salvation Army, St. Mary Catholic Church or the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
