Ingalsbe, Robert Glen

(Known as Glen) went to be with the Lord suddenly, probably due to a heart attack, on Friday, November 20, 2020. He was born in Yakima, Washington October 13, 1952, to Robert and Lola Ingalsbe. He worked in their orchard until graduating from Wapato High School in 1971. He attended United Electronics Institute in Portland, Oregon, graduating in 1973. He worked a few years at a TV repair shop in North Bend, Washington, then worked for Talley Corporation in Kent, Washington, for several years until it closed, repairing high end line printers. Then he worked for his friend Paul Luke's TV repair shop until that too closed.

He moved back to Yakima to live with his mother and her husband Russell Myers in 2000. Russell died in September 2002, and Glen lovingly cared for his mom until she went to be with Jesus in 2017. After preparing the house to sell, Glen moved to Spring Arbor in August 2018 to live with his sister Carol Morrisey.

In June 1977 he had major surgery to repair 2 congenital holes in his heart, which was successful, but possibly left enough weakness to make him vulnerable. He had worked very hard outdoors the day before his death.

Glen came to know Jesus as Lord and Savior in his childhood and never strayed from his strong faith. He was a quiet, reserved man with a kind and generous heart, always willing to help others. He was easy to get along with and never quarreled with his brother and sister. A conscientious worker, he was always determined to do an excellent job and didn't like to quit before every detail was finished. He loved electronics and repairing things and was a huge help to his sister.

He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Phyllis, who died in an accident 2 months before Glen's birth. Perhaps he has met her in Heaven now. He is survived by his sister Carol Morrisey, her children Trevor and Sean Morrisey and Susanna Rowser; grand nieces and nephews, Anton Karl, Lily Morrisey, and Damarius and Dominic Rowser; and his brother Roger Ingalsbe and his children Angie and Tim Ingalsbe.

Arrangements are by Desnoyer Funeral Home. Glen will be cremated and no service is planned. Memorial gifts may be donated to Spring Arbor Free Methodist Church.
