Hite, Robert P.

of Leslie, passed away at home under the loving care of his family on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the age of 77 years. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Carol; daughter, Sarah; son, Jeff; and two brothers, Tim and Joe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Ann; brothers, Mike, Steve, and Don; and sister, Pat.

Robert was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He loved flying airplanes, hunting and fishing with his brothers, lawn and garden, pianos, working on cars, and negotiating for the best deal. Robert retired after over 20 years at Dawn Food Products in Jackson, Michigan. He was a loving father and a devoted husband and he will be deeply missed.

A celebration of Robert's life will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Desnoyer Funeral Home with Pastor David Kamke officiating. Interment will follow at Roseland Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 30 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
