On Thursday, February 20, 2020, Bob, age 92, was called home by Jesus surrounded by his family while watching a sunset. Bob was a man of faith, family, freedom, a MSU fan, and loved playing golf. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Dorothy A. Harr; children, Suzanne (David) Ludwig, Michael (Leah) Harr, Beth (Brian) Blank, Jeanne (Jim) Calloway, David (Helga) Harr; grandchildren, Robert, Christopher, Michelle, Phillip, Allan, Alexander, Jacob, and Matt; eight great-grandchildren; brother and sisters, Duane Phillip Harr, Jane James, Beverly Charter, and Ann (Horace) Ward; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his two sons, Robert and Christopher and his parents, Lynn and Elizabeth Harr.

Bob served in Navel Aircore WWII. He volunteered for several organizations in the community.  Bob retired from Consumers Power after 32 years.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church with Fr. Timothy MacDonald officiating. A private interment will be held at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday, February 28 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM.

Contributions to Queen's Parish, St. Vincent dePaul Queen's Conference, or the Jackson Interfaith Shelter would be appreciated.
