Of Jackson and Gaylord passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 18, 2010 age 78 years. Survived by his loving wife of 52 years Sandra. Five children; Robert M. and Deborah C. Craft, Richard M. and Deborah A. Craft, Stephen T. Craft, David W. and Sandy Craft, Sarah E. and Tom Falahee. Thirteen grandchildren; Amanda, Andrew, Brian, Margaret, Hailey, Emma, Fischer, Ellie, Cooper, Caroline, Jane, James and Lauren. Two sisters; Merrilyn and Bruce Gilpin and Amna Seibold. Sister-in-law Shanna Fleming, many nieces, nephews and close friends. Preceded in death by two sisters; Suzanne Butterfield and Barbara Weed and his brother James M. Craft. Bob graduated from Hillsdale College and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He worked for 55 years and was currently the Chairman of the Board of The Craft Agency, Inc. Bob served on many insurance company advisory boards, was past president of the Country Club of Jackson and the Town Club. Bob served on the Jackson Public School Board for 6 years. He was the Past Director of the Board of City Bank & Trust, N.A. and was the current President of the Blue Horizons Investment Club. Bob contributed his time and energy to many organizations and charities within Jackson County over the years. He was an extremely generous person whose passion in life was his devotion to his friends and family. He taught his family the meaning of hard work and commitment to each other. Bob will be sorely missed by everyone whose lives he touched. According to his wishes Mr. Craft has been cremated. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2010, 10:00 AM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church. The Reverend Bernard Reilly officiating.

Craft Family Fund through the Jackson County Community Foundation (www.jacksoncf.org), the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (4880 Mill Run, Jackson, MI 49201) or to the Falahee Family Trust for the Benefit of James R. Falahee (2803 S. State St., Ann Arbor, MI 48104 attention James Pollock) would be appreciated.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Rosary and Vigil Service Monday at 6 PM.
