Hahn, Robert J. "Bob"
Robert (Bob) Hahn passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Jeanne, and his infant daughter, Rose. Bob is survived by his children Mary Beth (Ed) Riley of Willowbrook, IL, Cathe (Rob Dendel) Hahn of Marquette, MI, Barb (Jeff) Leathead of Jackson, MI, Bill Hahn of Ventura, CA, Steve (Connie) Hahn of Santa Barbara, CA, and Joseph (Karen) Hahn of Clearwater, FL, five grandchildren, Jessie (Gino) Salvatore, Philip (Emily) Leathead, Cooper (Philip) Ott, Robyn Dendel, Elizabeth Hahn, Michael Hahn, and Will Hahn, as well as four great-grandchildren. Bob is also survived by his brother, Bill (Elvira) Hahn and his sister, Marianne Hahn.
Bob graduated from St. John High School and worked for the United States Postal Service for 40 years. After retiring, Bob volunteered at the Dahlem Center and St. John Catholic Church. Bob served his country during the Korean War with the Michigan National Guard.
Mr. Hahn is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 711 N. Martin Luther King Drive, Jackson with Fr. Chas Canoy officiating. Interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 21 from 4:00 to 6:30 PM.
Memorials contributions may be made to St. John Catholic Church or Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice.
