Rick went to be with our Lord and Savior on December 11, 2021.  Rick was born in Jackson, MI on November 22nd, 1953. He is described by many of his family members and friends as a "jokester" always quick with pranks and always had a smile on his face. You never knew if that smile was because you were about to get pranked or if he was generally happy. Regardless the smile was there. Rick enjoyed carpentry, traveling the State of Michigan, traveling Alaska, and treasured the time he spent with his brother Wes at the steam shows and Onondaga race track with his dog "Buddy" in tow.

Rick is survived by his wife of 39 years Cynthia Dexter, his son Nicholas Robert Dexter and his children James and Allison Dexter, Jennifer Stubblefield, John and Rebekah Bennett, grand children Collin, Amya, Callie, Cole, Danny, Alena, Jack, Katie and Wyatt, his brother Ronald Dexter, brother Dan Clark, his sister Dawn Hunter, his sister Faith Schuck, his sister Hope Ennis and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved brother Wes Dexter.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place.  His memorial service will be held at 210 Kiwanis Drive; Mason, Michigan at 5:00 pm on Thursday, December 16, 2021. If you knew Rick and would like to attend and fellowship with family and friends please do.
