Neuenfeldt, Richard G.
Passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the age of 102 years. Survived by his son, Richard J. (Clarissa); daughter, Elva Elwell; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Bonnie, and Joseph; one niece, Diana; and one nephew, James Dunham. Preceded in death by his wife, Marie Louise and daughter, Shirley Ann Neuenfeldt.
He was the owner of Neuenfeldt Frog Market in Detroit from 1937-1956 and then moved to Jackson. Richard was the President Manager of the Fry Krisp Company from 1956 to present.
Richard is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where the Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 30 at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church at 10:30 AM with Fr. Timothy MacDonald officiating. Interment at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and at Queen's on Monday from 10:00-10:30 AM. A Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Vincent dePaul Society would be appreciated.
