KEYES, RICHARD D.

Of Jackson passed away Friday, August 20, 2010 age 74 years. Survived by five children; Pamela (Paul) Morris, Joyce Keyes, Rick (Tanya) Keyes, Linda (Bill) Files and R.J. (Cindy) Keyes. 13 grandchildren; Tara, Chris (Jeanette), Tanya (Matthew), Tracy, Samantha, Libby, Aaron, Matthew, Sarah, Bethany, Dylan, Billy and Harry. Seven great grandchildren; Carson, Emma, Easton, Harlie, Drew, Isaac and Torian. Four brothers and one sister; Raymond Keyes, Evelyn (Jack) Lounsbery, Thomas (Joyce) Keyes, Robert (Barb) Keyes and Ronald (Rosie) Keyes. Numerous nieces and nephews. Beloved and loyal companion, Trixie. He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn "Lyn", daughter Sherri Nippa, grandson Ryan Morris, brother Walter and sisters Helen and Geraldine. Richard was the owner of Keyes Produce for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. For many years he raised and owned harness race horses. He was a member of the U.S. Trotting Association and the Polish Falcons. Richard enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Keyes is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Sunday and Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Rosary Monday 6:00 PM.

A brief Prayer Service will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Tuesday 9:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 10:00 AM. Interment St. John's Cemetery.
