Richard John Renfer "Rooster"
Age 67, of Jackson, Michigan passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022 after his long battle of cancer. He was born May 24, 1954 in Jackson, Michigan.
Rooster was an avid outdoorsman. He loved going to the U.P. with his wife and family and enjoyed hanging with his friends and loved them dearly. Rooster was a concrete finisher for 40 plus years and retired from Cooks Foundation and Flatwork in 2020 where he loved working his last few years and enjoyed himself. Rooster touched and taught a lot of people. He was loved by many and loved many.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sally (Wahr) Renfer; sons, Richard Renfer Jr. and Josh Renfer (Kristin); daughter, Jamie (Blake) Watson; and grandchildren, Dylan, Blake, Josh Jr., and Axel.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Big 9 Sportsman Club, 12000 Folks Road, Concord, MI 49237 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm.
