Of Livonia passed away in Jackson on Saturday, March 13, 2010 age 82 years. Survived by one sister, Margaret Jurczyszyn and one brother, Gerald Bojnowski. Two nieces; Marianne (Barry) Ball and Margaret Chelemen. Grand nieces and nephews; Merideth, Lily, John and Thomas (Julia). Richard was a U.S. Army Medic serving in World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a retired Tool and Die Marker from the Burroughs Corporation in Detroit and was a devoted member of St. Gerald's Catholic Church in Livonia. Richard enjoyed music, dancing, humor and loved his family. Richard is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where services will be Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 10:30 AM. Private Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Detroit.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM. Rosary Tuesday 7:30 PM.
