Anderson, Dr. Richard L. "DOC"
passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, December 29, 2014 at the age of 83. Survived by his wife, the love of his life for 63 years, Mary, his three sons: Larry, Mike and Jim and his daughter Laura and five grandchildren. Preceded in death by his youngest son, Joe.
Doc practiced dentistry in Jackson for 36 years. He enjoyed building and flying airplanes his entire life. He was a life member of the Jackson Radio Control Club as well as a member of Irish Hills RC Club. Richard served in the U.S. Navy for four years during the Korean War.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday, January 2 from 5:30-8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 3 at Queen of Miraculous Medal Catholic Church at 11:00 AM with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating. Cremation to follow the Mass.
The family would like to thank the staff of Ganton Home Care Service and Vista Grand Villa Rehab and Nursing Care Facility for their loving care and support.
