Priscilla was born on July 7, 1931 to Henry J. and Evelyn Leist, who preceded her in death, and passed away peacefully on Mother's Day, May 8, 2011. Her greatest joy came while spending time with her family from attending their many activities to challenging them to a game of scrabble, rarely losing a game to anyone! Priscilla shared her love of reading (and books) with her two daughters. Gardening, crafts, woodworking, and following the Red Wings were other hobbies she enjoyed. Those who knew and loved Priscilla will remember her for her strength, intelligence, and great sense of humor. She was a wise, independent woman, devoted mother, and friend who will be greatly missed. Priscilla is survived by her children, Karen Betley of Kalamazoo, MI, Paul (Trena) Henry and Dru (Tom) Densmore of Jackson, her sister Carol Wood of Clifton Springs, NY, and the "most spoiled child" her beloved cat Vlady. She was the Grandmother of eight and Great-Grandmother of six, who also survive her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Alan Leist, and her former spouse/special friend, Donald Henry. According to her wishes cremation has taken place.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with the Reverend James Shaver officiating. There will be no visitation.
