MILLER, PHYLLIS LUCILLE
Our loving mother, born April 28, 1926 passed away peacefully at Allegiance Hospital on Thursday, December 9, 2010. Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Joseph Leo Miller, parents John and Marie Holzworth, sister Evelyn Horn and daughter in law Sherel Miller. Survived by twelve children; Margaret (Tom) Hatfield, Steven (Mary Ellen) Miller, David (Sheri) Miller, Susan (John) Dixon, M. Lynn Miller, Joan (Patrick) McCluskey, James (Brigid) Miller, Joseph R. Miller, Kathleen (Clark) Bisbee, Maureen (Rob) Brewster, Nancy Miller Rojas and Martin (Joanne) Miller. 33 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren. Sisters; Marion Eisele, Elizabeth George, Dorothy (Glen) Horn, Agnes Norton and Jane (Ken) Dillon. Brother; Robert (Ione) Holzworth. Numerous nieces and nephews. She was a lifetime member of Queen's Parish. Her greatest joy in her life was spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all. Mrs. Miller is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a brief Prayer Service will be held Tuesday 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church 10:30 AM. Interment St. John's Cemetery. The Rev. Timothy MacDonald officiating.
In lieu of flowers contributions to Queen of the Miraculous Medal School, Lumen Christi High School or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Rosary Monday 6 PM.
