FOUNTAIN, PHYLLIS A.
On April 2, 2010, one of God's most amazing, strong and beautiful women, our mother, completed her journey on earth and went to be with God Our Father in Heaven. Our family believes that by God's side awaiting this beautiful woman was her husband and forever love James L. Jr. Who went to heaven on February 11, 2006. We're sure our father was very anxious to once again wrap his protecting arms around the love of his life. Our mother is also preceded in death by one daughter Rindy, son Chris and four grandchildren. Our beautiful mother is survived by her children; four sons and five daughters; James (Sally), Bob, Mark (Tina), Matt (Randy Sue), Karen (John) Lozier, Margaret (Gary) Emerson, Jean (Gary) Stevens, Mary (Bill) Seffernick, Phyllis (Dennis) Phillips. 15 grandchildren
and 7 great grand children. She is also survived by one brother, two sisters and many nieces and nephews. Our mother was a very selfless person and although she never took any credit, she was a major part of the magic behind our forever memorable holidays, our many family traditions, and our greatest memories; those of the summers at our Clark Lake cottage. Our mother was always busy taking care of all ten of us children. We always had clean clothes and dinner was always made with her wonderful pot roast on Sundays. Her and our father took us to Loud and Jackson's Ice Cream after church every Sunday. We're pretty sure it was really for our dad! Our mother loved to meet her brother, sister-in-law and sisters to have lunch with her, her son and daughter-in-law. She met for lunch her still good friends from high school "the girls" on a regular basis and occasionally met with the "railroad ladies". Our mother was a very devoted Catholic. Whenever she had the opportunity, she loved to hear Fr. Jim Shaver sing the "Ava Maria." Our family would like to give special thanks and acknowledgement to Dr. Aaron VanWagnen (we adore you!) and his staff, especially Beth. You took such wonderful care of our mother, showing her and us such courtesy and compassion. For this and everything you have done for us and been though with us, we are forever grateful! Mrs. Fountain is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 1:30 PM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 2:00 PM. Interment St. John's Cemetery.
