KREUER, PHILIP W.

Of Jackson passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, October 2, 2011 age 74 years. Survived by his wife Mary S. Kreuer. Two daughters; Christine (Daniel) Stalnaker and Kara (Dexter) Evans. Eight grandchildren; Ayla Gore, Zackary Gore, Devin Cross, Jacob Gore, Sydney Gore, Abigayle Jabkiewicz, Asharia Evans and Dexter Evans Jr. Sister Janice (David) Barnes. Preceded in death by his parents, Philip and Helen Kreuer and mother-in-law, Jane Conley. Phil was in the Army Reserves, retired from the Jackson Citizen Patriot after 36 years of service. He was a longtime active member of St. Mary Catholic Church where he taught Religious Education and was Youth Director for many years. Mr. Kreuer is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held on Thursday at 9:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Interment St. John's Cemetery. Father Tim Nelson will officiate at the Funeral Mass.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Scripture Service Wednesday 7:00 PM.
