Christou, Peter "Rick"
passed away peacefully at home under the loving care of his family on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the age of 70. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Diane; daughter, Julie; three brothers, Nick (Nancy), Dan (Carol) and Sam (Susan); two sisters, Kathy (Ken) Schuiling and Sally (Ron) Brown; brother-in-law, David (Lynn) Van Maele; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Jason and his parents, Clito and Tillie.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 22 at 11:00 AM at the Desnoyer Funeral Home with Fr. Dusan Koprivica officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM. A celebration of his life will take place at the Grotto Club immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Rick had a great love of animals, including Kirby and his rescue dog, Jack. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rick's memory may be made to the Cascades Humane Society or your local animal shelter.
