Shaughnessy, Pearl June
of Jackson, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016. Pearl was born on June 22, 1929. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Thomas "Shag" Shaughnessy. Surviving are her sons, Daniel (Kimberly) Shaughnessy and Joseph Shaughnessy; six grandchildren, Jacob (Karina), Devin (Kayla), and Shannon, Marcy, Derek, and Emily.
Pearl was retired from Stetlers Cleaners. She was a long time member of St. John Catholic Church and was involved in the funeral dinners for many years. Pearl enjoyed the activities at the Boos Center.
Pearl is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Saturday, February 6 at 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Father James Shaver will be the celebrant at the Mass. A private entombment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday, February 5 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM with a Vigil Service at 6:00 PM.
The family suggests that you please consider memorial contributions to St. John Catholic Church or the Boos Center.
