Anderson, Pauline G.

of Jackson, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the age of 86 years. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Willard Anderson. She is survived by six children, Deana (Ron) Thompson, Sue (Melvin) Enbody, Jim (Joyce) Anderson, Bill (Debbie) Anderson, Christi (Mike) O'Reilly, Karey (Tim) Collins; 10 grandchildren, Tim (Amber) Thompson, Amanda (James) O'Keefe, Jessica (Brandon) Casler, Christina (Dave) Mahern, Abbey (Kurt) Schanz, Shay Anderson, Austen & Brayden O'Reilly, Cameron & Taylor Collins; 7 great-grandchildren, Xander & Asher O'Keefe, Blake Casler, Charlie & Monroe Mahern, Chesney & Ryder Schanz; one brother, Richard Barnes.

Pauline was a homemaker, and also was involved in the family business of Vandercook Ace Hardware for many years. Pauline loved life, and was always very proud of her family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Pauline on Tuesday, May 9 at St. John's United Church of Christ, 801 S. Mechanic St., Jackson, MI, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jay Cummings and Rev. Dr. Patricia A. Kenney officiating. Interment will take place at Draper Cemetery at 2:30 PM.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Monday, May 8 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and at St. John's United Church of Christ on Tuesday, before the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
Instead of sending flowers, the family suggests making a donation in Pauline's memory to the Cascades Humane Society or St. John's United Church of Christ.
