Swantek, Paul Arthur
Age 59, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016. Born January 18, 1957 in Hamtramck, Paul was raised and lived in Sterling Heights until he relocated to Jackson in 2005. He is survived by two sons, Sean and Tyler Swantek of Jackson and granddaughter Luna Swantek of Canton. Paul is preceded in death by his daughter Renee Swantek and parents Arthur and Eleanor Swantek. Paul graduated from Henry Ford II High School and retired early from Utica Schools where he worked as a custodian. He will always be remembered by his love of music and his one-liner jokes.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 17 at 10:30am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Jackson, 711 North Francis Street, Jackson, MI 49201.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Henry Ford Allegiance Health Foundation in support of the diabetes fund, 205 N. East Avenue, Jackson, MI 49201
