Paul was born September 7, 1919 in Jackson Michigan to Leo and Agnes (Dalton) Johnson. Paul served during WWII in the Red Arrow Division in the Philippines and New Guinea. He married Alice Bradley in 1946 and shared 59 yrs. together Uncle Paul's house was always a welcome stop for them . Paul. a journeyman electrician, was a proud member of the IBEW, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for almost 70 years. His retirement years were devoted to using his time and talents to help anyone who needed it. He served for almost 3 decades, helping in many ways with the St. Vincent de Paul Society and St. Vincent Store. His greatest joy was to give a helping hand to someone in need. His Christian faith was his strength, and taught him to help others less fortunate.

Paul will always be remembered in his eastside neighborhood, as the man who would fix your bike or lend you a tool, who would take you for ice cream or to a ball game. Even though he had 7 children of his own, his home was always open to all, including stray dogs and cats. In his elderly yrs., during his afternoon walks, it was common to have kids and grown up kids hail him from across the street "Hey Mr. Johnson, How are you?" His eastside neighbors will always remember their good friend, "Mr. Johnson".

Paul is at Desnoyer Funeral Home, where a Prayer Service will be held on Monday, February 9 at 10:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11:00 AM with Fr. Robert Pienta officiating. Interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
