Hogle, Paul E.
of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at the age of 79 years. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Frances (Ruede); eight children, Brian (Brenda) Hogle, Jill Hogle, Carolyn Moon, Mark (Kristin) Hogle, David Hogle, Ronald (Melissa) Hogle, Nell Hogle, Paula (Dan) Kapp; 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; one sister, Sharon (Stan) Behrman; one brother, Jim (Marcia) Hogle; numerous nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin and Charles and one sister, Kathryn Brown. Paul was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a charter member of the Titan Club at Lumen Christi High School, was a member of R.S.V.P., was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a life long and active member of St. John Catholic Church. Paul enjoyed all sports but was an ardent football fan and ran the chains at the Lumen Christi football games for many years.
Paul is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where the family will receive friends on Thursday from 2–4 and 6–8 PM. A Rosary Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 6:00 PM.
A brief Prayer Service will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday at 10:30 AM followed by Mass of the Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Reverend James Shaver, Reverend Robert Pienta and Reverend Paul Ruddy will be the celebrants at the Mass. Interment will take place at Chapel Cemetery in Parma.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Church Rectory Renovation Project, the Jackson Interfaith Shelter or the charity of your choice.
