Cook, Paul N.

Age 89, of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Rosemarie (Varner), parents Forrest and Reta Grace Cook, brothers; James, Nathan and wife Teresa Cook. Survived by his sister Esther Silcock (late Gordon Silcock) of Bull Head City, AZ; brother Mark (Margaret) Cook of Grayling, Sisters-in-law Barbara Cook of Traverse City, Lorraine Varner and brother-in-law Frank Mariott of Jackson. Special care givers, Diane (Todd) Marriott. Many cousins, nephews and nieces. Paul served in the Navy from 1948 to 1952, receiving several medals serving on the aircraft carrier USS Philippine Sea CV-47 during the Korean Conflict. He graduated from Michigan State College and retired from Aeroquip Industry in Jackson.

Graveside Services for Paul will be held at St. John's Catholic Cemetery on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 2:00 PM with Fr. James Shaver officiating.
