Adams, Paul R.

of Jackson, passed away of natural causes at his home on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the age of 69 years. He is survived by one daughter, Jean Adams. He was preceded in death by his son, Charles Joseph Adams in 2008. Paul is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Frances Adams and her family, including her brother, Jose DeLosSantos and her sister, Sonia Lantis and the rest of the DeLosSantos family; uncle, Gerald R. Martas; cousins, Patricia (Robert) Middleton, Larry (Linda) Kozikowski and Terry Kozikowski (Jackie Henry).

Paul was an Assistant Jackson County Prosecutor from 1968 to 1971 and then went into private law practice. He loved aviation and used to be a private pilot. He was very active in the Democratic Party, was an avid history buff and enjoyed music, especially the Big Band sound.

The family will receive friends at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM with Father Mathias Thelen being the celebrant. A private interment service will be held for the family on Monday at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association of Michigan.
