Patsy Ann Ellis

Patsy Ann Ellis of Jackson, Michigan passed away on August 20, 2026 at the age of 91 years. She was born July 2, 1935 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to parents, Albert and Frances Lewis.

Patsy attended primary school in Jackson Public Schools and she graduated from Jackson High School. Patsy then attended Spring Arbor University and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree and continued onto Eastern Michigan University where she obtained her Master’s Degree. She began her career journey with Jackson Public Schools as a secretary and retired from there as an educator.

Patsy married her loving husband, Donque Ellis in 1960. This union was blessed with three sons, Ricardo, Kim and Don.

She accepted Christ at a young age. She was a faithful member of Lane Memorial C.M.F. Patsy enjoyed traveling, great food and most of all shopping.

She leaves to mourn her; three sons, Ricardo Ellis of Lansing, Michigan, Kim Ellis of Aurora, Colorado; and Don Ellis Jr. of Jackson, Michigan; 14 grand-children; 37 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Pasty Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Donque; her parents, Albert and Frances Lewis.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Ellis will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at the Desnoyer Funeral Home, 204 North Blackstone Street, Jackson. Entombment will follow at Roseland Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 29 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon.
