Patrick George Rollins
Patrick Rollins passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026 in Jackson at the age of 88. Born in Adrian, Michigan on February 21, 1938, he is survived by his wife Carolyn (Rogowski) whom he loved unconditionally from the moment they met in Milwaukee in 1965.
Patrick was a proud Irishman who thoroughly enjoyed life, a good story, and personal friendships. The four most important things in his life were his faith, family, country, and of course, he was extremely proud of his Degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1959. After graduation he served his country as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy. As a businessman, he owned Rollins Guard Service for 32 years, providing industrial institutional security services in Jackson, Lenawee, and Hillsdale Counties.
A devout Catholic, Pat’s faith was the cornerstone of his being and it guided him in every aspect of his life. Despite his many accomplishments, he would tell you that his life’s calling was to be the best husband, father, and grandfather he could be. And he only did it one way – loving his family.
In addition to Carolyn, Pat is survived by his four children, Beth (Mike) Orton, Pat (Deanna) Rollins, John (Krisztina) Rollins, and Katie (Mike) Jones; sister, Cathie Reel; grandchildren Maggie and Michael Orton, Connor and Ryan Rollins, Victoria Rollins, and Liam, Nolan, and Brendan Jones.
