Grant, Patrick J.
Age 59, of Jackson, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2009. Survived by his wife, Joan; two children, Andie and Luke; brothers, Mike (Carol) Grant, Bob (Tina) Grant, Dick (Patti) Grant, Mark (Elaine) Grant. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Viola; one sister, Jean Ann; one uncle, Ed Grant; one brother-in-law, Mike St. Louis. He was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army and was a member of Queen of the Miraculous Medal Parish. Patrick was employed at Sterling Spring LLC as General Manager. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church. A private interment will be held in Noblesville, IN. The Reverend Robert McGraw will be the celebrant.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. and at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church on Friday from 12 to 1 p.m. A Vigil Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Jackson Area Catholic School C.A.C.S., 711 Francis, Jackson, MI 49201.
