Horsch, Patricia Ann
94, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. Pat was born March 27, 1931 in Jackson, Michigan to Frank and Anna Palkowski. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Duane; her sons, Brian and Tom; her daughter-in-law, Jackie (Mark) Horsch; her son-in-law, Tony (Judy) Pucci; and her sister, Mary Jo Joseph. Pat is survived by her children, Judy Pucci, Mark, Kris (Sharon), Patrick (Kelly), Timothy (Michele), and Daniel (Dawn) Horsch; her 12 grandchildren, Jacob and Megan Pucci, Brian Mosher, Shanda Wheeler, Brittinaey Messenger, Travis, Blake, Danielle, Ryan, Parker, Riley, Kyle and Vivian Horsch; her 17 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Diane VanAllsbury; her niece, Margaret Overton; and her honorary son, Tom (Theresa) Sercombe.
Pat's life was filled with love, family, friends and crossword puzzles. After raising her 8 children, Pat worked 20 years for Northwest Community School District before retiring at the age of 71 years. She was a lifetime member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and served as a lector/reader, Eucharistic minister, alter society member and a funeral luncheon volunteer. Pat treasured her time with family and hosted many dinners and events. She was an avid reader and loved learning.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025 AM at 10:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Chas Canoy and Deacon Dave Etters officiating. A private interment will be held at St. John Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Sunday, April 13 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 6:00 PM. The family will also receive friends at the church on Monday from 10:00 to 10:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church would be appreciated.
