Our beautiful mom peacefully passed on at the age of 95 on April 30, 2025.

Pat was born in Jackson to Robert and Ann Hoard on November 1, 1929.

Mom graduated from St. Mary High School and held a lifelong affection for her home parish. She and dad were members of Queens for the 73 years of their marriage. Pat's primary vocation was loving her family and living her faith. She fought the good fight, she has finished the race, and she remained faithful.

Patricia is survived by sons Michael (Michelle), Philip (Debbie), David (Susan), Thomas, and Steven Alan; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Herb, her parents, her brother Bobby (Patricia), her sister and brother-in-law Barbara and Joe Leahy, her son Christopher (Mary); and grandson Jacob Furnas.

Mom enjoyed playing cards and board games with family and friends, being at the beach, and she loved her gardening. She was also an artist. For many years she decorated the church and private residences and made items for Jacobsons. In later years mom took up painting and has left us treasured works.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church Monday, May 5, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. with visitation from 10:00 until 10:30 in the church. Private interment at St. John Catholic Cemetery.

The family offers our thanks to the staff at Brightside for their loving service to both mom and dad, to Hospice, and to Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church for their accompaniment of our family in this journey.
