Riess, Onalee Grace

Born Onalee Grace Snyder on June 24, 1938 to Harvey Snyder and Iva Laura Lee Snyder in Mt. Clemens, MI.

Onalee is survived by her children, Gerald Collins, Mary Lane & Dave Chick, John & Michelle Collins, Brenda Mallendar & Paula Hill, and grandchildren Melanie Convery, Tim O'Neil, Kyle Mallendar, and Tabitha Schmeiding, and 8 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son David Collins and great grandson Ethan Convery and beloved husband, Charlie Riess.  She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends, including Kathy DuPrie and Holly Poling.

Onalee earned a Bachelor of Arts from Wayne State University and Masters Degree in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University.

She passed peacefully on June 15, 2023 at home surrounded by family and friends.  She will be remembered and greatly missed by all.

A private service for the family will be held at a later date.
