Sedlecky (Parks), Olive "Sue"

Of Jackson, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024, aged 91 years. She is survived by her sons Roscoe J. Parks, Jr.; Robert Parks (Margaret); daughters Linda Fitzgerald (Mark) and Laura Parks;  stepchild Luella King (Steve); sixteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her spouses Roscoe J. Parks, Sr. and Edward Sedlecky; infant son Leonard Parks; daughter-in-law Mary Parks; siblings Jesse, Bob, Jack, Mary.

Olive "Sue", known as Gma to her grandkids, enjoyed going to the movies, socializing with her restaurant friends, and spending time with her family.

Olive "Sue" will always remain in our hearts.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating.  The family will receive friends at the Church on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

According to her wishes, she will be buried next to her husband Roscoe at the Aetna Township Cemetery in Morley, Michigan on Friday, February 16 at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial contribution to the Catholic Charities of Jackson or a charity of your choice.
