HOLDA, NORBERT E.

Of Jackson passed away Friday, May 14, 2010 age 81 years. Survived by his loving wife of 59 years Florence. Three children; Ann (Kent) O'Neil of Jackson, Maggie (Steve) Anderson of Horton and Marty Holda of Seattle Washington. Grandchildren; Kelly, Thomas and Alison O'Neil, Chrissy (Jeremy) Sykes, Steve, Lizzy and Mo Anderson. Three great grandchildren; Sophia and T.J. O'Neil and Blake Sykes. One sister; Jeanette (Paul) Tate. Three brothers; Richard (Jeannie) Holda, Donald (Margie) Holda and Kenneth (Martha) Holda. Sister-in-law; Cam Holda. Numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by three brothers; Eugene, Edwin and Jerry Holda. Norbert retired from Spartan Corporation after 30 years of service and worked for 20 years as Fleet Manager at Anderson Distributing. He was a U.S. Army Veteran
of the Korean Conflict. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Interment St. John's Cemetery. The Rev. Jeff Poll officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101 would be appreciated.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and also at the Church on Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:00 AM. Vigil Service Monday 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
