Loving mother and beloved "Oma" Nicolette (Nicky) C. Sargeant passed away peacefully Dec. 21, 2012 at the age of 96. Born Nov. 16,1916, in Maastricht , Netherlands.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, John E. Sargeant Jr., son Ron E. Sargeant and daughter Deb J. Penn. Survived by son, Nick J. Sargeant of Indianapolis, IN, daughter Heidi S. Ritchison, Fort Myers, FL and Grandchildren, Troy and Andrew Sargeant , Jackson, MI, T.J. Penn, Madison, WI, Nathan Sargeant, Pleasant Lake, MI, Kristopher Sargeant, San Diego. CA., Jake Ritchison, Portsmouth, VA. and Codi Ritchison Fort Myers, FL.
Her lifetime career and passion was spent in the travel industry as a tourist consultant for AAA and Bisbee Travel. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held at Desnoyer Funeral Home on Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations to Allegiance Hospice , One Jackson Square, Jackson, MI 49201 are welcome.
